Cédric Ragot
A multitalented designer, Cédric Ragot advocated a transversal approach to industrial design and creativity in the broadest sense, while constantly asserting his interest in an obvious reading of objects, and proposed an intuitive and sensitive aesthetic. Cédric Ragot was active in a great many sectors, working with well-known brands such as Paco Rabanne Parfums, Cappellini, Rosenthal, Veuve Clicquot, Panasonic, Krups, LaCie and Häagen-Dazs. His creations garnered many accolades, including a Good Design Award in 2007 for his Fast vase with Rosenthal; a Wallpaper* Design Award in 2008 for his Majordome pedestal tables with Roche Bobois; two Reddot Design Awards for the LaCie Flat Cables in 2009 and, in 2012, the Krups 3Mix 5000 Mixer, an emblematic product for the brand. In 2014 he received a Best Design FiFi Award for the design of Paco Rabanne’s Invictus perfume bottle. Some of his creations have also been selected by the collection of Fonds National d’Art Contemporain and are exhibited in Paris, Hanover, Vienna, New York and Milan.
