Plust presents Softer, the new modular lounge system designed by BrogliatoTraverso for residential, hospitality and contract settings.
At the heart of the project is SoftElement, a special polyethylene compound that gives the surface a flexible and inviting feel while maintaining the durability required for outdoor use. Resistant to impact, UV rays, rain, salt air and frost, the outer shell encloses a polyurethane foam core that provides the comfort of traditional upholstery.
Comprising a seat, pouf and coffee table, Softer can be arranged in linear, corner or open configurations, adapting easily to terraces, hotels, resorts, rooftops, poolside areas and beach clubs. An internal galvanised steel structure ensures stability.
Its soft, flowing forms are complemented by a nature-inspired colour palette, designed to create monochromatic, tone-on-tone or contrasting compositions.
End-of-life considerations are also an integral part of the project: the absence of adhesives and welds makes it easier to separate the materials and direct them towards their respective recovery or recycling streams.
Softer combines comfort, modularity and material innovation, offering greater freedom in the way outdoor spaces are experienced.
