Softer Pouf is the modular complement to the Softer collection from Plust Collection, designed by BrogliatoTraverso to bring the comfort and softness of indoor upholstered furniture to outdoor spaces. It can be used as an additional seat, a connecting element or a footrest within linear and corner lounge configurations.
The outer shell is made of SoftElement, a special polyethylene compound developed through Plust Collection’s research and produced using rotational moulding. The surface flexes gently and in a controlled manner under the body’s weight before returning to its original shape, providing a soft, elastic and welcoming feel.
The inner cavity is filled with expanded polyurethane foam, enhancing the pouf’s comfort and consistency. The polyethylene and foam work together without adhesives, welding or chemical bonding, creating a seamless, continuous structure. This solution also makes it easier to separate the components at the end of the product’s life cycle.
Designed for outdoor living, Softer Pouf is resistant to impacts, UV rays, rain, salt air and frost. It is ideal for terraces, gardens, rooftops, poolside areas, hotels, resorts, beach clubs and contract projects.
Available in Pietra, Creta, Grain, Marea and Pineta, Softer Pouf interprets the colours of nature through tactile, contemporary finishes. It can be coordinated with the seat and the other elements in the collection to create harmonious monochromatic or tone-on-tone configurations dedicated to outdoor relaxation and conviviality.
BrogliatoTraverso
Both graduates from I.U.A.V. in Venice, after various experiences that took them from learning the art of Murano glass to working with traditional ceramics in Japan, in 2014 Alberto Brogliato and Federico Traverso founded the design studio BrogliatoTraverso. The evolution of their profession has increasingly made them eclectic, aware that the contemporary role of a designer can no longer be limited to dictating their own style. The studio’s method focuses on a depth of analysis and skills that allow them to interpret the essence of the brands they collaborate with, as detached from style concerns as they are committed to the meaning of each individual project.
This approach has enabled BrogliatoTraverso to work consistently with brands such as Magis, Cappellini / Haworth, Guzzini, and others. These collaborations have earned the studio numerous international awards, including the Red Dot Design Award, the German Design Award, the IF Design Award, the Interior Design Best of Year, the Good Design Award, and the ADI Design Index.
